Starting July 24th open 11-5 M-F. Saturday & Sunday 12-5.
In 2002, we purchased half "Yoder Apple Barn Farm". Front apple
orchard has 18 rows of apple trees. Middle orchard has 27 rows of
peaches. It is separated by a largemouth bass pond and picnic pavilion
Back orchard is old apple trees then a large smallmouth bass pond.
We have a beautiful rolling setting of farm fields, orchards, and
ponds. I great place to bird watch or cast a fishing line. We allow
self pick by those who sign a liability release. Stop in and enjoy our
renovated barn with Amish fireplace and loft. Sample our peach cider.
Scout groups and church groups welcome. Overnight lodging will be
available as we are now finishing the upstairs.

We use a minimal regiment of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides. I do an early season application of Round-Up for weed control. I use Orbit, Topsin, and Captan for brown rot and apple scab control. I use Imidan for insect control. These are the safest of all the chemicals available. I have a private pesticide license but I have not used nor do I plan to use any Restricted Use items. Because of this we have a good population of predatory insects.
